8/21/05 - I'm not going to bother stating how long its been since i've updated the site :-) because we all know how long it has been. But I've added pages to the site for those who marched in 03, 04 & 05. And congrats to those guys for doing a great job and keeping up the tradition - See ya, Brian
3/2/02 - Wow, the last time I updated this was 3 months ago - I apologize for that. Anyway, I put the 2002 Bassline and included pictures of them all. I also added pictures of the 1983 bassline as sent to me by Tim Becerra (#3 in '83) - Thanks Tim! (If you actually read this page, you will see that I got those picts sent to me a year ago - man how time flies). Anyway, I would also like to welcome Vince Gardner (Bass #5 in 91 & 92) to part of the 2002 bassline as their instructor, and say thanks to Phil Vallejo (96 - 99) for doing a great job in 2000 and 2001. That's about it for now. - See ya, Brian
9/2/01 - Hey... I updated the 2001 member page with the correct and final bassline of the 2001 season. It ended up like this: Eric Estrada (1), Chris Cyr (2), Chris Martin (3), Matt Ring (4) and Tim Ventura (5). I would like to congratulate all of them on a great season. They worked their @$$es off this Summer to make up for the lost time and were very successful. I would also like to welcome Anthony Gilmore to the website. Anthony played bass 2 in 1980 and just recently found the website and submitted his information. Thanks Anthony & Welcome! Thats all for now. If you are interested in auditioning for the 2002 bassline, information will be posted on the SCV website shortly. See ya.... Brian
3/25/01 - Wassupp?!? Okay, the 2001 bassline member page is now complete with the members of the 2001 SCV bassline. I am proud to welcome Kevin Shah (2) , Jimmy Bell (3), and Matt Ring (4) into the SCV family. Joining them in the bassline this year again will be Chris Cyr (in his 3rd year) on #1, and Tim Ventura (in his 2nd year) on #5. I'll eventually get some pictures and stuff up, but you know how it is ... the same excuse as before .. too much stuff going on to keep this thing as updated as possible. Tim Becerra ('83) sent me some pictures from way back then :-) and i'll be hoping to get those up soon too. Thanks Tim! Thats's it for now - seeuh!
1/15/01 - Dudes I suck and I apologize for not updating this site that much. I will continue to make updates when I get a chance, but those are few and far between these days. Most of my time is consumed with the SCV Website and work. I hope to find time to work on the site and get more stuff up. In the meantime, you guys can help me out by sending pictures, soundfiles, and all that good stuff to keep the content of this site expanding. Just send it here, and it will eventually get up here. By the way, they are beginning to set the 2001 bassline, so check out that page and I put up the list of people who made it. See ya!
3/17/00 - Okay well it has been a long time (too long) since this website has been updated. The webmaster has been working on a number of other projects - particularly the SCV Website. Thanks for all of your patience. First of all, we would like to congratulate and announce the 2000 bassline. They are: Joey Rivera (1), Chris Cyr (2), Will Goodyear (3), Dave Fye (4), and John Mussulman (5).
Secondly, we want to invite all of you to support our sponsors. You will find their links throughout the site. We have tried to make them as unobtrusive as possible. By supporting them, your are supporting the SCV Bassline and keeping this site up and running. Thanks!
Finally, a little bit about the site. We have moved to a new service provider that gives us more disk space. That ultimately means more media for all of you. What that also means is that we are no longer getting a free webhosting. This makes it even more imparitve that you visit our sponsors. We hate to bug you all about this, but it really is important and we thank you for your understanding. And finally in regard to the new service provider, our guestbook is currently unavailable. You can still view entries but signing the guestbook is temporarily unavailable.
Thanks again for your support and look forward to seeing this site being updated more frequently.10/22/99 - Welcome to the newly redesigned website. All the same information is here, it just all looks better. Let us know what you think about the new design. Also, make sure that you don't forget to sign our guestbook. Until further notice, the Individual and Ensemble pages will be temporarily down while they are redesigned to match the rest of the site. Other than that, keep your eyes open for more audition information as well as other information pertaining to the 2000 season. Thanks for stopping by!
10/7/99 - Well there is a lot of stuff happening on the website these days. New pictures have been added as well as a whole bunch of sound files. The member pages are starting to take shape as people are sending in information and lots of other good stuff.
Audition information is posted on the Audition section of this site as well as on the SCV Website. If you are interested, check out these sites or email the webmaster to find out how you can get some information.
